Liquid cooling
Liquid-Cooling Coupling Ratings: OCP, Danfoss, Gates, and CPC LQ6
Match the pressure and temperature on the part's own page. An OCP UQD window, a Gates UQD window, and a CPC Everis LQ6 window are three different published ranges.
On this page
Use the window printed for the interface the design already names. OCP UQD v2.0.0 Table 6, effective September 22, 2026, lists 100 psi maximum operating pressure and 5°C to 65°C (41°F to 149°F) for a complying UQD or UQDB. Danfoss's 2026 fact sheet repeats that 5°C to 65°C operating line and also prints an EPDM-P range of -40°C to 150°C, with working pressure up to 20 bar on smaller sizes and 6.9 bar as the typical figure. Gates's 2025 UQD sheet lists 290 psi and -40°F to 248°F for UQD02 through UQD08, with EPDM seals. CPC Everis LQ6 is a latched 3/8 inch coupling under its own series name. As of October 20, 2026, that page lists vacuum to 120 psi (8.3 bar) and 0°F to 240°F (-17°C to 115°C), with EPDM in the materials table.
The OCP window is one band for every UQD size
Table 6 does not give size 02 a different operating temperature from size 08. Maximum operating pressure is 6.89 bar (100 psi). Minimum burst is 20.68 bar (300 psi). Operating temperature is 5°C to 65°C. Shipping temperature is -40°C to 70°C (-40°F to 158°F). The document's scope is non-combustible single-phase water and glycol. Note 7 says Cv is reported for water and that other liquids need a correction or another test. A loop outside 5°C to 65°C, or above 100 psi, is outside the operating cell of this table even when a maker prints a wider catalog range.
OCP also says the product shall meet or exceed Table 6. A higher published burst can sit above the 300 psi minimum. A higher published working pressure is the maker's rating, and it is still a different number from the 100 psi cell. Size, flow, and Cv are where those maker tables are split by code.
Danfoss prints two temperature lines and a size-dependent pressure
Read the Danfoss fact sheet as more than one rating. The product-feature list says the operating temperature range is 5°C (41°F) to 65°C (149°F), and it says typical working pressure is 6.9 bar, up to 20 bar for smaller sizes. The seal table on the same file lists EPDM-P, peroxide cured, from -40°C to +150°C (-40°F to +302°F). The elastomer range is wider than the coupling operating line. Quote the line that matches the question you are asking: the coupling's published operating band, or the elastomer's published band.
Body material on the feature list is 303/304 stainless steel. The part tables mark individual rows SS303 or SS304. Seals are EPDM-P, and the sheet says those peroxide-cured seals and O-rings are certified to IEC 62368-1 G.15.2.3 under file MH67791, Volume 1. That file number is the sheet's certification reference, as read October 20, 2026. It is not a test report for a CPC or Gates coupling. Danfoss lists the address Nordborgvej 81, 6430 Nordborg, Denmark, and a drawing date of April 2, 2025, on sheets inside the same PDF.
Gates uses one window for all four UQD sizes
Gates lists maximum working pressure of 290 psi (20 bar), minimum burst of 1,160 psi (80 bar), operating temperature -40°F to 248°F (-40°C to 120°C), and shipping and storage temperature -40°F to 302°F (-40°C to 150°C). Material is 316L stainless steel. Sealing material is EPDM. The sheet is marked 2025 and was opened October 20, 2026. Those figures apply to the UQD family on that sheet, not to a Danfoss part number and not to Everis LQ6.
A cold start below 5°C is inside the Gates operating line and outside the OCP operating cell. A 200 psi working pressure is inside the Gates 290 psi line, inside Danfoss's 290 psi line for UQD02, and above OCP's 100 psi cell and Danfoss's 100 psi line for UQD06. The useful check is the part number, the size, and the cell on that page.
CPC Everis LQ6 is a different interface with its own window
Everis LQ6 is CPC's 3/8 inch-flow latched coupling for liquid cooling of electronics. It is not named as UQD02, UQD04, UQD06, or UQD08 on the product page. Pressure is vacuum to 120 psi, 8.3 bar. Temperature is 0°F to 240°F (-17°C to 115°C). Maximum flow at disconnect is 4.0 gal/min (15.1 L/min). Spillage is under 0.03 cc per disconnect at 0 psi and under 0.03 cc per disconnect at 120 psi. Inclusion is under 0.02 cc per connect. The materials table lists plated brass, a high-performance polymer for the valves and thumb latch, 302 stainless steel springs, and EPDM seals. The introductory text also says FKM and EPDM seals are standard options for dielectric or glycol and water coolants. The materials table itself lists EPDM. This guide does not assign FKM to one fluid and EPDM to another beyond that sentence, because the page does not print separate ratings for each seal.
CPC's address on the page is 4200 W. Round Lake Road, Arden Hills, MN 55112. Example part numbers on the page, as of October 20, 2026, include LQ6D22008RED for a 1/2 inch locking hose barb insert in warm red, and LQ6D24006BLU for a 3/8 inch NPT insert in cool blue. Tubing sizes listed are 3/8 inch to 1/2 inch inside diameter (9.5 mm to 12.7 mm). Color coding is cool blue or warm red. The page warns that pressure, temperature, chemicals, and the operating environment can change performance, and that the buyer tests suitability in the application. Quick-disconnect families are the place to match a UQD latch to a blind-mate UQDB. LQ6 does not take that size code.
| Page | Interface | Pressure on that page | Temperature on that page | Seal named |

What to copy onto the request
Copy the interface name, the part number, the pressure, the temperature, and the seal from one page. If the design must follow OCP v2.0.0, write that, and then write the maker's wider range only as the maker's range. Hose temperature and pressure are a separate sheet. A coupling rated to 248°F does not set the hose rating.
- Interface name: UQD size, UQDB size, or Everis LQ6.
- Part number from the page you are using.
- Working pressure the loop needs, and the pressure the page lists.
- Operating temperature the loop needs, and the temperature the page lists.
- Seal compound printed for that part.
- Fluid, including glycol concentration if the design states one.
Questions when two numbers are on one sheet
Which Danfoss temperature is the operating limit?
The feature list states 5°C to 65°C as the operating temperature range. The elastomer table states -40°C to 150°C for EPDM-P. Ask Danfoss which line governs the part number you are buying. This guide keeps both, because both are printed.
Does LQ6 ship with FKM?
The page says FKM and EPDM are standard options, and the materials table lists EPDM. A part number such as LQ6D22008RED does not, on this page, show a seal suffix. Ask CPC which seal is in the part number on the quote.
Can these windows be mixed on one loop?
The loop's fluid, pressure, and temperature have to sit inside every component's published window, including the hose and the manifold. The narrowest applicable window is the one the design has to meet. That is a check against the pages above. It is not a new rating.
